Our mission

Education should make the next step feel possible.

We help learners see a practical route forward—and help institutions build the relationships, resources, and programs that make that route real.

Founded in Dallas–Fort Worth by educator and community leader David Cooper, Foundations Fund is a locally rooted platform for educational access, professional preparation, and civic partnership.

What we do

Three pathways.
A lifetime of possibility.

Programs are designed with local educators, institutions, employers, and community partners—not simply delivered to them.

03

College Transition

Mindful, step-by-step preparation for the cultural, academic, and personal shift from high school into a college classroom—and toward long-term persistence.

  • Classroom expectations
  • Belonging and resilience

The transition matters

College readiness is more than an application.

Students benefit from understanding how college feels, works, and asks them to grow. Our approach combines academic preparation with thoughtful attention to confidence, belonging, responsibility, and everyday classroom habits.
